Waterford offers an extensive palette of heat-treated air-hardening tubes to meet each rider's individual needs. Press for more information on Waterford's materials technology. Using these alloys as a base, we've designed a custom tubing palette we use to meet each individual rider's needs:

| S3 |
R33 |
The bike that has taken performance to another level - regardless of material. The most demanding application of TIG welding in the bicycle world, no one matches Waterford's workmanship. |
| OS |
RST-22 |
This design represents the the most advanced lug construction available. A perfect choice for the rider who wants a classic feel in a high performance bike. |
| OS2 |
RST-14 |
Waterford's newest tubeset - TIG Welded. OS2 offers much of the performance of our S3 technology at a more economical price. Based on a 1 3/8" downtube and 1 1/4" top tube, you get an impressive ride. |
Our Road Sport Touring Geometry Tables show the care we've put into these designs:
- Front-end geometry changes with size to maintain a plush ride throughout the range of sizes.
- Seat angles and top tube lengths comfortably fit American proportions for all sizes. 26" (mountain bike rim diameter) wheels for smaller sizes assures a comfortable fit without toe-clip overlap with a good tire availability.
- Longer chainstays add ride comfort, accommodate larger tires(as high as some 38C tires or 35C with fenders) and allow for plenty of rear pannier clearance. Rear dropouts are spread to 130mm.
You can order a number of quality forks for your road sport extended. We take pains to match precisely your frame with your fork to assure the best possible ride:
No builder creates a steel fork with the ride of a Waterford fork. The combination of stiff crown and soft blade tips combines to offer what many riders characterize as the best ride you can buy!
- The 22-series fork comes with a Henry James investment cast fork crown whose elegant design minimizes weight while offering exceptionally responsive steering. Our in-house fork-building capability lets us offer handling packages that fall outside the range of the available composite forks.
- Waterford 1" forks are available as both threaded and threadless configurations at no extra charge. A 1 1/8" steel fork is not available.
- Custom-engineered Reynolds 531 constant wall thickness fork blades as well as our special fork rake offer excellent shock damping.
- The 22-series fork receives Waterford stainless steel dropouts. Your dropout faces stay clean - no rust or peeling of the finish.
Waterford offers an exceptional range of composite forks. The available forks may not fit standard reach (57mm) brakes. Composite forks are only recommended when the geometry matches the available forks.
- Reynolds Ouzo Pro - in both 1" and 1 1/8" threadless. This fork does not fit standard reach (57mm) brakes.
- Reynolds Ouzo Comp - in 1" and 1 1/8" threadless. This fork does not fit standard reach (57mm) brakes.
- True Temper Alpha Q with either the TI or Carbon steerer. This fork only minimally fits standard reach (57mm) brakes.
- True Temper Alpha Q Sub 3 Carbon steerer. This fork does not fit standard reach (57mm) brakes.
- Profile Design BRC 1". This fork does not fit standard reach (57mm) brakes.
- Our advanced lower head lugs incorporate threaded derailleur cable guides which, with our spring loaded barrel adjusters offers riders the first truly STI, Ergo and bar-end system compatible frameset in the world! Riders can make derailleur adjustments on the fly.
- Our proprietary brake cable guides incorporated into the lugs eliminate weight by allowing shorter butts. They also eliminate a second heating of the tube, maximizing tube strength and integrity.
- Maintain high strength while eliminating corrosion and paint abrasion from quick release levers. Regardless of the model, we maintain such tight alignment standards that no dropout adjusters are required on the frame.
- The Model RST-22 may be ordered with optional stainless steel investment cast head lugs and fork crown. This gives you the look of chrome without sacrificing the performance of today's fine materials and design.
- Riders looking for a more upright position might benefit from our head tube extensions. Press here for an example of a 20mm extension.
- Available for 1" steerers - threaded and threadless.
