The base Adventure Cycle geometries provide a sound platform for creating an ideal fit for long distance touring. With custom geometry available at no extra charge, you can adapt your frame to meet your specific needs.
The sloped top tube design of the base geometries pushes the handlebar position 25mm (1") higher than they would be with a horizontal top tube, while keeping the same average standover height as the horizontal top tube equivalent. To do this, the seatmast is shortened by 25mm, resulting in a 50mm (2") total slope. Thus, a 56cm frame has a seatmast that's only 53.5cm tall, but that bars are in the same position as they would be on a 58.5cm frame.
It's just one more reason why the Adventure Cycle leads all other touring bike designs.
